FREE MASTERCLASS:
HRT 101:
What It Is, How It Works, and If It’s for You
Masterclass with Dr. Carrie Jones
So you’re ready for hormones, but don’t know where to start?
I got you!
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is one of the most talked-about — and most confusing — topics for women in midlife. Between acronyms (HRT, MHT, HT), conflicting advice, and endless Google rabbit holes, it’s hard to know what’s fact, what’s fear, and what’s actually helpful.
Plus, it’s NOT a one-size fits all.
In this 60 minute masterclass, Dr. Carrie Jones will break down the basics of the most common hormones, Estradiol, Progesterone, and Testosterone, in plain English. We’ll cover when hormones might be a good fit, when it’s not (actual contraindications), what lab testing has (and hasn’t) been shown to help, and how to approach conversations with your practitioner with more confidence.
Plus, I’ll review the most common forms they come in. From patches to pills, vaginal to off-label forms since testosterone is not (yet?) FDA approved, you’ll learn about all your options.
Here’s what we’ll cover inside the webinar:
At what age you can start it (and if you’re ever “too old”)
If MHT is the same thing as HRT (not really, and I have thoughts)
If you need testing prior to starting hormones
The FDA approved reasons for using hormones (and why I think it needs updating)
What are the actual contraindications vs “it depends on several factors”
What’s the deal with bioidentical and if it’s a real thing
The difference between systemic hormones and vaginal hormones and why you may need both
Which hormone I start with if you only want to start with one (and why!)
Why progesterone is important if you have your uterus and are on an estrogen.
The many different forms available to you of each hormone - patch, pill, cream, gel, etc.
Which forms are FDA approved and which are used off-label (and why)
Who should join me?
