FREE MASTERCLASS:

HRT Q&A

Masterclass with Dr. Carrie Jones

January 21st at 4pm PT/7pm ET

Curious about hormones but feeling like you have more questions than answers?

I got you!

This is my 3rd Q&A Masterclass answering your questions because I understand your frustration!

The hormone conversation is everywhere but when it comes to you, the details can feel messy, overwhelming and just plain confusing.

This 60min masterclass is your next step: a live Q&A created specifically from the questions you submitted in my last masterclass and on social media.

Everything from “Does FSH always mean menopause?” to “Can I just start with vaginal hormones first?” and “Can you talk about the Amazon progesterone creams?” plus “I want to know more about DHEA and pregnenolone.”

I’ve been prescribing hormone therapy for 20 years, follow the latest research closely, lecture all over the world on women’s health, and read your comments/dms closely. I know it’s confusing!

Here are your questions we’ll cover inside the webinar:

  1. My FSH is 45 with 2 skipped periods, am I menopausal? What FSH do you like to see?

FSH has become much more popular to follow as it’s quite a signaling hormone in the body!

  1. Can you talk about the amazon progesterone vs wild yam cream? Aren’t they the same?

Not the same but I understand the confusion! Let’s talk about USP Progesterone.

  2. If I’m on oral progesterone and estradiol, can I still use progesterone cream if I liked it?

Always talk with your prescriber but usually the answer is yes. It depends on your dose.

  3. I’m on 5mg of DHEA in the morning, can you talk more about DHEA and what it does?

Absolutely! DHEA is considered a pro-hormone because it turns into other hormones.

  4. Do you like the estradiol injection? Does it release over a week? Do you like the pellet option?

Injections and pellets are definitely options but do come with caveats. We’ll discuss them.

  5. I’m doing estradiol and my 4-OH detoxification pathway is high. What does this mean and how can I better support estrogen detoxification in my body?

The 4-OH pathway can increase the risk of Quinone formation that might be genotoxic (DNA damaging). Thankfully there are ways to help reduce this risk.

  6. I have a Mirena IUD due to fibroids but want vaginal estrogen for dryness/pain. Is that ok?

Always talk with your prescriber but likely, yes! We’ll discuss the nuances of this.

  7. I have sleep issues, brain fog, and potential bone issues. Are hormones the only option? When should I start them if I go that route?

Hormones are not the only option but if you are considering them, I believe starting sooner rather than later is important.

  8. Why do some people tolerate progesterone well and others don’t?

Ah! I know. Some women LOVE it. Some women HATE it. I’ll cover the issues I see with it.

  9. My doctor had me start pregnenolone for my brain fog and it’s really helping but I don’t know this hormone - can you talk about it?

    Yes!

Plus more that were submitted by you!
