Dry Skin Brushing for Weight Loss and Toxin Release

Dry Skin Brushing for Weight Loss and Toxin Release

I admit, it sounds and looks kind of goofy but I SWEAR it works well and I always feel better after I do it.

Dry skin brushing works on the lymphatic system. This is the system that connects all of your lymph nodes together (trust me, you have tons of them!) to help your immune system, eliminate toxins, and get rid of fat!  You have lymph nodes in your neck, along your collar bone, in your arm pits, in your belly, down in the inguinal area (where the leg and abdomen meet), and more.

Am I in Menopause?

Am I in Menopause?

What exactly is menopause? It is that time in a woman's life when her menstrual cycles completely end for at least 12 months and some moves completely out of her reproductive years into the next phase. Most women are thrilled to be done with their period however with menopause comes a shift in hormones often resulting in unpleasant symptoms such as hot flashes, insomnia, night sweats, weight gain, vaginal dryness, and joint pain.

Is Poor Blood Sugar Regulation Ruining Your Health?

Is Poor Blood Sugar Regulation Ruining Your Health?

Sugar.

We're all addicted to it. Some (myself included) consider chocolate its own food group. The World is Now More Obese than Overweight

Not to be punny but the number of people IN THE WORLD who are obese is bigger than the number of people who are overweight. In fact, 20% of those obese adults live in Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, and of course, the United States. Ugh.

No, it does not include wine.

3 Reasons Stress is the Most Dangerous Toxin in Your Life!

Between your daily life and the chaos on the news, it is probably safe to say that many people are feeling the effects of stress.  Stress can be due to good reasons in that weddings, new babies, family gatherings, traveling, and such are often fun, festive affairs however they still cause stress and wear the body down.  On the flip side, we find ourselves often eating too much, staying up too late, spending too much, not prioritizing exercise, dealing with drama, while trying to organize and multi-task.
